The G2NA Project has now held two Webinars in preparation for the Retreat at the Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre, January 22-25 2017. The first G2NA webinar was held on November 30 2016, and the second webinar on January 11 2017. 

The aim of the webinars is to help prepare participants for the forthcoming G2NA Retreat, providing background and context. In the 2nd webinar, presentations included Dr Kathleen Calzone from the U.S. National Cancer Institute Genetics Branch considered the questions of Why genomics, why nursing, why now?, and Dr Cathy Catrambone for Sigma Theta Tau International spoke about the Global Advisory Panel: Future of Nursing & Midwifery, providing broader professional context.

Establishing the Global Genomics Nursing Alliance

for knowledge mobilisation and action around developments in nursing and genomic healthcare.

Creating a G2N Roadmap

that lays out how to integrate genomics into nursing education, practice and research.

Agree and prioritise

the collaborative efforts needed to realise the Roadmap.
