Health Education England has issued a press release about the Genomics Education Programme’s #GenomicsConversation 2019 Week of Action from 4th-8th March.
A new addition to the programme for 2019 is a free-to-attend, evening panel discussion event ‘Talking Genomics with Patients’ to be held on Tuesday 5th March in central Birmingham, UK. Facilitated by G2NA Co-lead Dr Christine Patch, the event will draw on the past experiences of the panel, which comprises patients who have been through the genomic testing process. The discussion will centre on the patient voice and experience, and GEP hopes it will provide health professionals with new insights and understanding of the issues at hand.
