Nursing, Genomics and Healthcare is a brand new conferece for the international community and will take place virtually between 07-09 July 2021.
The conference committee is made up of colleagues from G2NA and ISONG (the International Society of Nurses in Genetics) and is aimed at nurses working in clinical practice, their educators and managers as well as nurse leaders and health policy makers. Conference sessions include:
- Driving and measuring change
- Genomic implementation
- Exemplars in genomic practice integration
- Genomic education
- Leadership and collaboration: growing genomic nursing integration from scratch
- Policy and regulation
- Public, patient, and family expectations of genomics and the healthcare workforce
- Action plan for establishing a collaborative genomic nursing competency
Key Dates:
Bursary deadline - 27 Apr 2021 **A number of free-registration bursaries are available thanks to support from the National Cancer Institute, USA** Applications are particularly encouraged from low and middle income countries
Abstract deadline (poster & lightning talk) - 11 May 2021 NB You will need to be registered in order to submit an abstract.
Registration deadline - 29 Jun 2021 Student/Trainee £50, LMIC delegates £50, Nurse/Academic £100
