The Annual Congress of the International Society of Nurses in Genetics takes place in San Antonio, Texas, USA from November 8-10 2019, with a pre-Congress educational event on November 7. This year’s theme is Transforming Health Through Genomics Nursing. More information about the Congress can be found here.

G2NA steering group member Dr. Emma Tonkin (University of South Wales) is attending and has been invited to join the Global Panel session to discuss her experiences, challenges, and strategies around advancing genetic/genomic nursing in the UK. Over dinner on Friday November 8, 6:00PM (venue to be confirmed at Congress), Emma will be meeting up with Laurie Badzek (Dean and Professor of Penn State College of Nursing) and other G2NA members who are attending the ISONG Congress, to share updates and discuss future activities and plans.
